QA Tester
Responsibilities
- Creating test cases for software and firmware products
- Reviewing and revising testing procedures and test cases.
- Conducting quality checks on Software Apps and Web Apps, Firmware functionalities, and Production processes.
- Performing manual and automated quality test runs.
- Working with the hardware team for testing, to ensure software and hardware work in sync.
- Advising on procedures to improve production efficiency.
- Reporting to the quality assurance manager.
- Bachelor’s degree in quality management, engineering or a related field. (not required, but a bonus if so)
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role.
- Experience with writing manuals, troubleshooting instructions, and test reports.
- Strong analytical and mathematics skills.
- Software and firmware knowledge.
- Experience with electronic circuitry is a plus.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Good communication skills.
