RoleSAP Functional Consultant - MDG
Mandatory Technical / Functional Skills
S* Must have at least 5-7 years of SAP Data Conversion experience
* Should have done atleast 2 Full end to end lifecycle MDG Implementations
* Migrate data to/from data staging tables in SAP Tables
* Experience with ETL process and concepts
* Knowledge at least 3-4 years of SAP Retail Master Data
* Knowledge of Retail Domain
* Strong understanding of the Business Rule Framework
* Integration methodoligies between different SAP systems and Legacy system
Roles and responsibility
* Conduct analysis, design, and development activities related to the creation and maintenance of conversion programs
* Develop and maintain functional and technical documentation/specifications
* Validate functional processes being implemented
* Provide technical expertise
Desirable Technical / Functional Skills
* Participate in testing efforts: test planning, processing/tracing messages, researching errors and conducting root cause analysis to identify corrective actions
* Develop and maintain utility programs/scripts to automate common pre/post conversion tasks
* Run conversion programs, Ensure that all data is migrated accurately
* Perform data verification and provide data reconciliation reports
* Extensive experience in cross-module integration of SAP Retail Modules
* Broad exposure to various technologies: EDI, IDOC, ALE, RFC, SFTP, File based
